Champions 10

Well, the FA Community Shield is over and Manchester United won. I soo knew we were going to lose! Like serzly..And no, don't think I'm one of those football fans who likes to take it out on the players when things go wrong and all that. I'm a real Chelsea supporter mehn. I've got the new Home kit with "Champions 10" written on it and week in, week out, during mid-semeter tests, whether it was raining or blazing hot, I always made my way to Cafe 2, Hall 2. This was where I watched most of my Chelsea games last season

I've got the back of my laptop covered with the picture of Terry, Lampard and Cavarlho lifting up the 2009 Community Shield. But hey, the community shield really doesn't mean much no?
I really haven't done the research but I have this innate thoery where the community shield is a reflection of how the season would probably go- especially when its against United.
Last year, Wayne Rooney scored a 92nd minute equalizer to take the match to penalties....which we won convincingly...The league ended on the last day with Chelsea winning that final game 8-0.
The other time we played them for the Shield, Chelsea got the game to penalties where we lost 3-0. Jose Mourinho was sacked a few weeks later. Chelsea went on to lose the league on the final day against Bolton.
Chelsea won the league the year Arsenal was beaten to the Shield and finished third when the season's curtain raiser didn't involve the London club.

Maybe I'm sounding like one of those columnists from Football365.com, but I'm really just a concerned fan who is even more so, superstitious especially after what we went through while wearing last season's cursed away kit.

My Jersey
Four consecutive pre-season losses is not encouraging and what's more? Carlo doesn't seem to want to add any marquee signings to Benayoun...hiss...I'm tired with our new transfer policy. I just hope the season turns out right.
Come on the Chels!
